Pollen Street Capital were part of RBS and needed to move off the existing infrastructure to a new premises. They didn’t want to invest in completely new infrastructure, but wanted a highly resilient and compliant solution, that could handle rapid internal expansion.

Alpha FX are a 120 user financial services company that help corporates and institutions more effectively manage currency. They were looking for a solution that would allow employees to work from home during a critical time. Holland Mountain Ltd. are a Venture Capital and Private Equity specialist – with the recent changes in their working structure, they needed to outsource their IT Support to something that was remotely based and had better security. Due to the highly confidential and private information they deal with, there were certain regulations and settings that they required on hardware and devices so that they can always ensure safety of their data but still allow their staff to work freely and on whatever device they choose. As there would be more people working from home, their phone systems needed some additional work and upgrades as well.

In October 2019 it was announced Mitie Pest Control (trading as MPCL Ltd) was acquired by ServiceMaster and rebranded as Terminix. Keen to break away on their own, Terminix approach TechQuarters to help them create a completely separate IT setup – from scratch – as a brand new company.

Gaucho – GDPR and Cyber Security Solution

Gaucho is a chain of boutique-style Argentinian restaurants founded in 1976, with 19 restaurants spread across London, UK, Dubai, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires. Gaucho were looking to tackle the introduction of new General Data Protection Regulations head-on, seeing it not just as a one-off project but a chance to re-evaluate their whole ethos around how they handled data. Cyber security and procedure implementation were an essential part of this change.

Charter Harley Street – Digital transformation

Charter Harley Street are one of London’s leading rehabilitation centres for drug and alcohol addiction counselling therapy, eating disorder and mental health treatments. When they first approached TechQuarters they were already using the basics within Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel, but knew they could be using their IT for more, and as well as IT consultancy they were also interested in IT support.

Roedean School – Office 365

Roedean Exchange server was nearing its end of life and becoming difficult to support internally. Roedean were made aware that Microsoft Office 365 was free for education, so wanted to investigate how it would integrate with their existing network. However, a fast transition time for all 800 mailboxes was imperative for the school.
