Charter Harley Street are one of London’s leading rehabilitation centres for drug and alcohol addiction counselling therapy, eating disorder and mental health treatments. They operate from a London office consisting of 20 employees who primarily rely on their IT to schedule appointments and record patient information.
When they first approached TechQuarters they were already using the basics within Office 365, like Outlook, Word and Excel but knew they wanted to digitally transform further. As well as seeking consultancy around their IT Strategy they were also interested in IT Support.
How TechQuarters helped
As Charter Harley Street wanted to do an overhaul of their existing local infrastructure, we proposed our Digitize solution to improve business processes, productivity, efficiency and flexibility.
As part of our Digitize solution we started by scoping out the current infrastructure and businesses processes, and provided a detailed Cloud Roadmap IT strategy document.
The project involved
- Improving the infrastructure network connectivity through implementing a new Firewall and wireless access points.
- A remediation of their existing Office 365, introducing new applications like OneDrive and implementing Office 365
- Creating a centralised document storage site with SharePoint
- Creating a tailored CRM system with Dynamics 365
- We also provided support and classroom training for users on the new system and applications, alongside on-going Office 365 portal and IT support
Overall the digital transformation project took one month from sign-off to completion, with a further month to create the bespoke CRM system, in partnership with Cloud 9.
Improved network connectivity had a significant impact on business processes by allowing users to access their centralised data seamlessly and from anywhere. Digitize enabled more effective collaboration internally using integrated Office 365 applications like OneDrive, and the additional training helped users get up to speed on the new system and applications, keeping disruption to a minimum. The new CRM system and combined backup enabled seamless data input, cataloguing and security.
As part of our Digtize solution, our cloud consultants also provide proactive recommendations on how clients can continue on their digital transformation journeys and how best to utilise technology to optimise all business processes.
In the case of Charter Harley Street, our proposed next steps would look at further network upgrades and additional security solutions for roving users, like EMS.
