Welcome to another TechQuarters blog, in this edition we’ll be showing you our trip to Ingram’s Cloud Live event where our CEO Chris was invited to speak!
What is Cloud Live?
Cloud Live is an annual event hosted by Europe’s leading distributor Ingram Micro. (See our award!)
This event brings together technology partners of Ingram from all across the UK who come to learn from each other, and share their ideas for the Cloud with various presentations and talks.
Our very own CEO Chris Dunning, and Sales Director, Martyn, also had their own presentation to give on our Office 365 training services.
Chris’s Talk on Office 365 Training
Chris was invited to speak at Cloud Live to introduce The Cloud Academy Office 365 Training opportunities to other attendees
The response to the training capabilities was amazing as Chris talked through all of the different aspects of Office 365 and how the training can help benefit a business in growth and productivity.
He also showed several examples of the training video content available to some lucky attendees at the event – Showcasing the variety of available language tutorials including Swedish, English, German, Spanish and French
Partner Speeches
It was also a privilege to watch so many great presentations from other partners and even the Chief Envisioning Officer of Microsoft, Dave Coplin
Dave presented some of the great ideas and products on the way from Microsoft which mainly revolved around machine learning. He provided examples such as elevator eyeball scanners that will scan your eyeball and recognise what floor you usually get off at!
There were also other speakers such as Sophia Meola and Dean Wootton from Ingram who were giving great advice on social media and digital marketing capabilities.
The overall event was very helpful and also insightful, with a wide variety of topics covered by professionals, a fantastic partner day!
