TQ Backup is a business level online backup service from TechQuarters, which is secure, reliable and easy to use. It backs up your selected company data, securely and safely over the internet due to the high level of encryption employed.

The data is then safely stored on the award winning, fully resilient Data Centre with 1Gb links and then replicated to a secondary storage site. As well as standard file restores, what really makes this service stand out from other online backups is TechQuarters returns your data on a ‘swap in (NAS) device’, within hours of a disaster, so you don’t have to wait for time consuming file downloads.

How TQ Backup works

TQ Backup works by setting up a secure encrypted link from an on-site Network Attached Storage (NAS) device to the TechQuarters data storage center. Data is then replicated 3 times a day by default. It only replicates the data that has changed since the last copy was made. You can save up to 100 versions of data replicated to the storage facility.

In the event of data loss we will restore your files immediately upon request. Secondly, if your on-site NAS device fails and needs repairing, we will copy all your data from the last copy onto a ‘Swap in NAS’ device and bring it down to your site within 8 hours of the failure, avoiding the need to wait for long file downloads and for a new NAS device to be delivered.
