The Biochemical Society wanted a speedy transition of 250 users from the existing Exchange 2007 server to Office 365. They also wanted to look for different departments to their own micro sites, but to still be able collaborate on shared data.
What did we do
TechQuarters’s first task was to ascertain the split in user licenses, 128, exchange plan 1, 122 E1 plan and 2 on Exchange Plan 2. When migrated all the emails across and verified all their domains. We also allowed external contacts to have access to their calendars which was important for them.
We then set-up Micro sites for each department in SharePoint Online, to improve access and increase productivity. Biochemical Society then moved to support so the gain the benefits of our helpdesk.
What they say
“Our Exchange servers needed upgrading and we were considering our options. We’d just heard about Office 365 and contacted TechQuarters to discuss how we could save on upgrade time and costs. TechQuarters explained the service brilliantly and worked with us as a team to migrate to the cloud. It was a pleasure working with them and we were able to learn cloud migration and skills from their on-going HelpDesk support”
